Q: Difference Between Fully Furnished, Part Furnished Or Unfurnished?
I am considering letting out a property and was wondering - what is the difference between a property that is fully furnished, part furnished or unfurnished?
A:
There are no strict rules to what a landlord should include in a property when they state it is fully, partially or unfurnished; however I would recommend that you keep to the following guideline:
- Fully furnished - your property should come with all the main fixtures, furnishings and fittings, white goods etc as well as standard utensils i.e. crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans
- Unfurnished - your property should only contain the basics of carpets, curtains and light fittings
This is only a guideline and you can vary these slightly, but it should give you a good idea of what to include
